About Wood Laminating:

What is laminating? Laminating is a technique of assembling a material in multiple layers, mainly in order to improve strength There are different lamination processes, depending on the type of materials being laminated.

About Wood Turning:

Wood turning is a craft using a wood lathe with hand-held tools to cut a shape that is symmetrical around the axis of rotation. Much like the potter’s wheel, with a wood lathe it is simple to generate a variety of forms, this operation is known as wood turning.

Wood Carving:

Wood carving is a way of woodworking by means of a cutting tool in one hand like a chisel and some sort of mallet by the other hand. With one tool you sculpt and with the other you drive the power, as you can imagine this takes time, talent and much experience.

We are very proud of our manufacturing process, our employees, and our tables. Our factory tour gives our customers a first-hand look at the quality of our products and the way a successful business is ran.

Factory tours are available for school field trips, career day, local billiard clubs, family’s, and or anyone interested in billiards. By providing tours we wish to give back to the community and bring more exposure to the billiard world.

Tracy Morgan a hilarious american actor and comedian who is best known for his role in Saturday Night Live & 30 Rock. Mr. Morgan has also been in countless appearances on television since 1992, and has played rolls in films we know and love such as 2010’s Cop Out, 2006’s Totally Awesome and 2001’s 30 Years to Life. This man has single handedly helped us experience most all the feelings on the feeling chart and we are grateful for it.

So for us here at Golden West Billiards it was a great pleasure to help manufacture the perfect billiard table for Mr. Morgan and his Family. After a little back and fort this brushed aluminum beauty, with bright orange championship felt and deep blue LED lightings was born and now resides in Mr. Morgans game room.
